What We Believe

The Bible is God’s word, accurate, authoritative and relevant in our everyday ordinary.

God is the Creator of all things, existing in three Persons: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe that sin has separated each of us from God and His will for our lives. We know Jesus is Lord, both God and man and is the only One who can reconcile us to God. Sinless, He died on the cross for mankind, and rose again.

We believe that in order to receive forgiveness and the ‘new birth’ we must repent of our sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and submit to His will for our lives.

We aim to pursue holy and fruitful lives as God intended for us, we need to be baptised in water and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit enables us to use spiritual gifts, including speaking in tongues.

We believe in the power of the Church, the building of a community of faith where believers can gather together for fellowship, prayer and communion.

We believe in a church that flourishes, a community equipped to build the body to do God’s work, to make His name famous.

We believe in the promise of peace that passes understanding, in a God that heals and makes us whole, that we the body would be able to reach the lost, and be equipped to help others more effectually.

We believe that our eternal destination of either Heaven or hell is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised.
